In the announcement about the August 2025 incentive program for car models posted on the Mazda Vietnam website, the company said "customers also have the opportunity to own Mazda sedan models at special prices, starting from only 403 million VND".
According to the dealer, the car model mentioned is Mazda2. The incentive will be deducted directly from the selling price, thereby bringing the price of Mazda2 back to an extremely attractive starting point, lower than most A-class cars such as Hyundai Grand i10 1.2 MT (405 million VND), Toyota Wigo G CVT (405 million VND).

The price incentive strategy is considered necessary in the context of the Vietnamese automobile market witnessing fierce competition between car models. Meanwhile, low-chassis cars are increasingly facing difficulties in the face of the rise of SUVs, CUVs and even electric cars.
In fact, the discount strategy has had a positive impact on Mazda2's business results recently. For example, in May 2025, Mazda2's sales surpassed its heavyweight rival Honda City for the first time, rising to third place in the entire segment.

In the first 7 months of the year, a total of 2,833 Mazda2s were delivered to customers, ranking 4th in the sales rankings of the B-class sedan segment.
Mazda2 is currently on sale in Vietnam with up to 5 version options with full sedan and Hatchback variants. The Japanese sedan stands out with its sophisticated, modern, and sporty Kodo design language. The car is equipped with adaptive LED headlights, 15-16 inch 5-spoke wheels, depending on the version. 7-inch DVD screen, 6 speakers, Mazda Connect system, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, auto-dimming mirror, HUD, blind spot warning, cross-traffic warning when reversing, lane departure warning, G-Vectoring Control (GVC) acceleration control....

The Mazda2 engine is a 1.5L Skyactiv-G gasoline engine, producing 110 horsepower and 144 Nm of torque. Connected to it is a 6-speed automatic transmission, integrated with a sport driving mode and paddle shifters behind the steering wheel.
