One of the common misconceptions is that swiping apps away will save iPhone battery. Apple has repeatedly stated that this action does not help and actually wastes more energy.
The reason is that iOS has to restart the application from the beginning instead of keeping it in a “frozen” state. A more efficient solution is to manage Background App Refresh.
Go to Settings > General > Background App Refresh to control the app list. Users should turn off social networking, shopping or gaming applications to save battery. Only keep it for important apps like messages, email or ride-hailing.
This small change helps iPhone battery last significantly longer without affecting the experience. Dear readers, please watch more videos : Top 10 'Scary' Technology Devices of the Future.
