"Examining" the special Honda CB1300SF SP Final Edition in Vietnam
Honda CB1300SF SP Final Edition produced in Japan with limited quantity has just arrived in Vietnam, only a few units have not had time to warm up but already have owners.

Recently, a private motorbike shop in Ho Chi Minh City has brought to Vietnam 5 CB1300SF SP Final Edition motorbikes imported directly from Japan. Notably, this special motorbike model has not yet warmed up but the owner has already ordered it. The Honda CB1300SF SP Final Edition is a special naked-bike model, marking the end of the CB1300 line after more than three decades of presence. This is one of four Final Edition versions introduced by the Japanese automaker in February 2024, including: CB1300 Super Four (CB1300SF), CB1300 Super Bol d'Or and two high-end SP variants.
The first CB1300SF SP Final Edition to appear in Vietnam has a white/red color scheme, inspired by the 1992 CB1000SF model. The new features are the metallic paint, Project Big 1 decal and the Final Edition inscription on the fuel tank - details that are both iconic and create a unique mark for the final version. In terms of design, the Honda CB1300SF SP Final Edition has some special features such as the retro-styled fuel tank with the "Final Edition" badge on top. Details such as the gold chain, swingarm and silver-painted triple clamp. The single round headlight bears the mark of the CB line, integrating modern LED technology and a modern LCD dashboard. The dual clock cluster of the vehicle is quite eye-catching, displaying operating information, warnings... These changes and adjustments help the Honda CB1300SF SP Final Edition create a unique, different look but still retain the classic style and traditional design of the famous Honda CB line.
The vehicle has dimensions of 2,200 x 795 x 1,135 mm, a wheelbase of 1,520 mm, a seat height of 790 mm, a weight of 272 kg and a fuel tank capacity of 21 liters. On the fuel tank there is also a "Project Big 1" sticker with the words Final Edition, not only indicating that this is the final version of the Big 1 project but also a special edition. Some details on the Honda CB1300SF SP Final Edition also make a difference in mechanical finishing as well as color scheme. In particular, the swingarm and top triple are exquisitely crafted, highly finished, combined with silver paint to create a luxurious highlight... The CB1300SF SP Final Edition's suspension system features a pair of Ohlins front forks painted in striking bronze, while the rear uses a pair of forks that create a solid feel and can be adjusted to different levels... In addition, Honda also equipped the CB1300SF SP Final Edition with a Brembo brake system including dual disc brakes on the front wheel with yellow brake cages, integrated with ABS anti-lock braking system. The rear wheel uses a single disc brake.
The car uses a 1,284cc, liquid-cooled, inline 4-cylinder, DOHC engine with a maximum capacity of 113 horsepower at 7,750 rpm and a maximum torque of 111.7 Nm at 6,250 rpm. This powerful engine is developed based on the engine of the 1997 X4 model, but has been refined to meet Euro 5 emission standards. Currently, the selling price of this model has not been announced. In Japan, the CB1300SF SP Final Edition costs about 2.1 million yen (equivalent to 360 million VND). With limited production, this model is considered a rare item for collectors and true motorcycle enthusiasts.
