Messi sets scoring record

Lionel Messi continues to make history in Major League Soccer (MLS) by becoming the first player to score a brace in four consecutive matches.

On the morning of July 10, in Inter Miami's 2-1 win over New England Revolution in the MLS make-up match, the Argentine superstar scored a double, bringing his total goals in the 2025 season to 14.

This is the first time in MLS history that a player has scored a brace in four consecutive games. Previously, Messi scored at least two goals in each of the previous games against Montreal, Columbus and Montreal. New England Revolution became Leo's latest victim.
