More than 100 cadres, members and union members launched a general environmental sanitation campaign.

(Baothanhhoa.vn) - On July 13, the Women's Union of Quang Phu Ward coordinated with the Youth Union of the ward to organize a general environmental cleaning campaign to welcome the Party Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward, term 2025-2027, towards the Party Congress of the ward, term 2025-2030; to pay tribute to War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27).

Comrade Le Thi Nhai, President of the Women's Union of Quang Phu ward, launched a general environmental cleaning campaign.

The general cleaning campaign was organized on Le Niem Street, which is more than 1,000m long. More than 100 cadres, women's union members, and youth union members of the ward actively cleaned both sides of the street, public areas, and the Martyrs' Memorial. The activity contributed to laying the foundation for building a "Garbage-free Street" model in the locality.

The forces actively participated in cleaning up the road.

In the context of rapid urbanization, environmental pollution caused by domestic waste, industrial waste, and construction waste still has many shortcomings. Raising community awareness and mobilizing forces to protect the environment is identified by Quang Phu ward as urgent work.
