Land of sunshine and wind

HeritageHeritage16/03/2024

Although I've traveled many coastal routes along Vietnam, if I had to choose the most beautiful one, I wouldn't hesitate to choose the route from Vinh Hy Bay to Nha Trang. Viewed from above, the road winding along the coast, with Mount Chua on one side and the azure, calm bay sheltering anchored ships on the other, looks like some kind of magical Mediterranean seascape. Vinh Hy Bay is a small, pristine bay located in the northeast of Ninh Thuan province, about an hour's drive from Phan Rang - Thap Cham city or, in the opposite direction, to Nha Trang city. In the afternoon, when the sunlight had softened, we hired a small glass-bottomed boat to go out to the fish farms at sea. The glass-bottomed boat glided slowly through the bay, allowing us to see the coral reefs and colorful fish at the bottom of the sea. As we left the coral reef area, the boat began to accelerate towards the floating rafts where fishermen raised fish and lobsters at sea. The sun was setting, and the wind was blowing stronger, causing the raft to bob gently on the waves. We chose some live shrimp and fish, had the fishermen prepare them simply, and then relaxed in hammocks, enjoying the blissful feeling of being out at sea .
