Multi-ethnic people from all over the world travel on a "healing tourism" journey to Rang (the old name of Ham Tien ward, Phan Thiet city, Binh Thuan province).
I am a local who still loves the name of the land, Rang - recalling a beautiful image - expressing the rosy morning. They come to Rang to relax, have fun, and live in this peaceful land that meets the conditions for reliable social security. They understand the benefits of enjoying the precious energy source from the sand dune ecosystem, golden sunshine, blue sea and weather, and climate favored by nature that effectively impacts the benefits for the human body and mind. Every year, they arrange plans, time and money to "fly" to Rang.
Thomas, a 55-year-old British man, is a kite surfing instructor. He married a Vietnamese woman who lives in Rang. His wife, Hoang Kim Quy, 32, used to make wine and raise pigs, but now she has switched to housekeeping at the resort. Thomas speaks Vietnamese quite fluently. His smile is radiant: “Rang is my hometown, my home. In England, I had fatty liver disease and an ugly big belly. I came to Rang to live and work since 2014. Every day I exercise and climb sand dunes from 4-6 am. My friends and I successfully conquered many sand dunes in Mui Ne - more than 10 km from Rang. The most refreshing healing energy is to enjoy the sunrise on the windy peak, more than 80 meters above sea level. Miraculously, the fatty liver disease disappeared, my belly became slimmer, and I had a good appetite.”
Mr. Hoang Linh, 59 years old, a businessman in District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, said with a smile: “I miss Rang like I miss a lover who never gets old. Rang is always beautiful and fresh, especially at dawn on the sea. The view is more than ten kilometers away, it is a pleasure to the eyes. Watching the beautiful curve of the sandy beach far away to the cape jutting out into the sea, embracing the fishing village. The sun spreads its bright pink fan. The breath of the clear sea fills the chest, healing all worries. The refreshing soul “kicks” boredom away”. He and his friends jog on the beach from 4-5 am. The receding tide shows off the white sand sparkling in the morning sun. He smiles happily, showing off his slim waist, which used to be more than 100 cm, now only 90. “Goodbye” to belly fat after two months of persistent morning jogging at Rang beach.
Mrs. Kim Phuong, 60 years old, is a restaurant owner. Her husband, Mr. Nikolai, 63 years old, a Russian doctor, understands the value of human health benefits from the energy of the land, water and sea of Rang. They invited all their relatives and neighbors in Russia to fly to Rang for winter vacation, avoiding the freezing weather in the North. Nikolai said that Rang sea water is clean, has many valuable trace elements that are medicinal herbs for treating joint pain, gout and skin diseases. A variety of dishes made from seafood such as fish, squid, shrimp, crab, oysters, clams, snails... caught in Rang sea are delicious, nutritious and attractive food. Nikolai enjoys going to Mui Ne early in the morning to exercise and climb sand dunes to treat and completely cure belly fat, slimming all kinds of belly fat and belly fat. He smiled and rubbed his hands on the result: his healthy and handsome figure like a young man.
I love Rang like many people do. Wherever I go, wherever I am, my heart still turns to Rang. Whenever I have the chance, I fly back to "her"; eat delicious "her" seafood; drink cool spring water from "her"; sleep soundly under the shade of rustling coconut trees. Behind Rang street, my footprints remain in the alley with a row of green coconut trees. The coconut roots are firmly planted in the source of water for thousands of years, and the branches spread far and wide in the heart of the sand dunes. The salty, sweet, fragrant, fatty, and passionate flavor of Rang coconuts that I enjoy forever never gets tired of. I walk with the boys climbing coconut trees to collect honey. The specialty of coconut flower honey is a valuable medicinal herb. Under the shade of the coconut trees, the healthy, peaceful, and long-lived old people leisurely strip coconut stems to make brooms. Time seems to stand still in the peaceful alley. I understand that Europeans, Americans and our people spend time and money to visit Rang because they enjoy the benefits of “healing tourism”. My love for my homeland increases many times over.
