On February 18, the National Assembly approved the dismissal of Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nghi from the position of Minister of Construction, Mr. Huynh Thanh Dat from the position of Minister of Science and Technology, and member of the Standing Committee of the 15th National Assembly Nguyen Thuy Anh.
The resolution approving the Prime Minister's proposal to dismiss the positions of Minister of Construction and Minister of Science and Technology for the 2021-2026 term was voted in favor by 428/429 delegates.

On January 25, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nghi was mobilized, assigned and appointed by the Politburo to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and hold the position of Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, term 2020-2025.
Mr. Huynh Thanh Dat, member of the Party Central Committee, was also assigned and appointed by the Politburo to hold the position of Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission on February 17.
On the same day, the National Assembly conducted a secret ballot to dismiss Ms. Nguyen Thuy Anh, member of the Party Central Committee, from the position of member of the Standing Committee of the 15th National Assembly, to take on the permanent position of member of the Economic and Social Subcommittee of the 14th National Party Congress.
This resolution was passed with 458/458 delegates in favor (95.82% of the total number of National Assembly delegates).
