QNgTV- In the face of the complicated developments of storm No. 11 and the post-storm circulation causing heavy damage in many northern provinces, Vietnam Railways Corporation has implemented a program to transport relief goods free of charge to people in disaster areas.

The program demonstrates the responsibility and sharing spirit of the railway industry, contributing to the whole country in overcoming the consequences after the storm.

Vietnam Railways Corporation only receives relief goods from organizations and individuals through the People's Committees, Fatherland Fronts and Red Cross Societies of provinces and cities. Transportation will be guaranteed to be smooth, safe and fast.

The railway industry is currently urgently fixing the problem and implementing a plan to dump rocks to block the flow to reduce flooding. Although the weather has cleared up, as of the afternoon of October 10, the water level is still receding slowly, decreasing by about 15-20 cm.

On the highway from Thai Nguyen to Hanoi , water is still flooding, causing long traffic jams.
