Can Tho garden area crowded with visitors on September 2nd holiday

Can Tho is becoming an ideal destination attracting a large number of tourists during the National Day holiday on September 2.

To prepare for the National Day holiday on September 2 this year, tourist areas in Can Tho city have planned many attractive programs to serve visitors.

Notably, at Ong De Eco-tourism Village, tourists can enjoy dozens of types of cakes at the Ong De Traditional Cake Festival taking place from August 30 to September 2; at the same time, visitors can watch performances and participate in making traditional cakes with artisans here.

Mr. Le Hai Phuc, owner of Ong De Eco-tourism Village, My Khanh Commune, Can Tho City, said that on the occasion of September 2nd this year, there were quite a lot of visitors, especially young people, with over 400 visitors per day visiting and experiencing the tourist area.

To celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day, Can Tho City will organize fireworks displays at 3 locations: high-altitude fireworks at Tay Do Park (Hung Phu Ward); low-altitude fireworks at Xa No Park (Vi Tan Ward) and urban area 5A (Phu Loi Ward).

Fireworks display time from 9:30 p.m. to 9:45 p.m. on September 2.
