Inside the Zoo, the walkways, animal cages, dining areas, games... were packed with people. In particular, on this occasion, Saigon Zoo also organized the activity "Sending love to the Fatherland", attracting the participation of many people, tourists and especially children.
Accordingly, visitors can write down their heartfelt thoughts and wishes to the Fatherland and paste them on a backdrop printed with the image of President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum and a map of Vietnam.
The words “Proud to be Vietnamese”, or the message “I wish everyone good health. Sending my gratitude to the heroes who have contributed to the revolution”... were expressed by many people. This is considered an opportunity for people, especially the young generation, to express their gratitude and pride for their beloved Fatherland.
Walking around the Zoo and Botanical Garden and stopping for a long time in front of this meaningful area, Ly Phi Minh (23 years old) and his friend carefully wrote the words "I love Vietnam". "I was very surprised to know about such an activity, it makes me more proud and love my country and homeland more", Phi Minh expressed.
Saigon Zoo and Botanical Gardens is organizing the festival "Happy Independence Day - Convergence of the country", bringing a space to explore the culture of three regions, combining many fun and culinary activities. After 5:00 p.m., Saigon Zoo and Botanical Gardens will open for free to visitors, lasting from August 28 to September 2.
