The announcement and award ceremony of the “Make in Vietnam Digital Technology Product” award in 2024 took place within the framework of the high-level session of the 6th National Forum on Vietnamese Digital Technology Enterprises with the theme “Mastering digital technology, mastering the digital transformation process of Vietnam by Vietnamese digital technology enterprises”, organized by the Ministry of Information and Communications on January 15, in Hanoi.
“Make in Vietnam Digital Technology Products” is an official award in the ICT field, organized by the Ministry of Information and Communications with the purpose of concretizing Directive 01 of 2020 of the Prime Minister on promoting the development of Vietnamese digital technology enterprises.
2024 is the fifth year that the Ministry of Information and Communications has coordinated with the Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry - VCCI to organize the "Make in Vietnam Digital Technology Product" award. This award continues to honor outstanding digital technology products, bringing pride to Vietnamese intelligence, creating new momentum for economic growth, creating national competitive advantages and increasing labor productivity.
Along with that, the Make in Vietnam 2024 award also aims to create more practical and comprehensive results, bringing value to people and businesses in digital transformation, developing the digital economy for industries, socio-economic fields and new digital technology products.
At the same time, this year's award also continues to honor Vietnamese digital technology products that conquer the world, contribute to the development of humanity and bring prosperity to Vietnam.
In the 5th edition of the Make in Vietnam Awards, the Jury selected 71 outstanding Make in Vietnam digital technology products and solutions to award Top 10 awards in 8 categories. Based on the award criteria and product quality, the Organizing Committee decided to award 7 Gold, 8 Silver and 9 Bronze awards.
At the announcement and award ceremony, General Secretary To Lam and Politburo member, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh awarded the Gold Prize to enterprises with the best digital technology products in 7 categories of the Make in Vietnam 2024 award.
Seven products received the Gold Award at the Make in Vietnam 2024 award, including: LynkiD customer care platform of LYNKID Joint Stock Company won the Gold Award in the category "Potential digital technology product".
HSPTEK Joint Stock Company's KIMQ AIoT edge computing platform won the Gold Award in the category of "Outstanding new digital technology product".
Magic Tiles 3 digital technology software product of Amanotes Vietnam Co., Ltd. won the Gold Award in the category of "Excellent digital technology product for foreign markets".
MISA Lending, a business loan connection platform of MISA Joint Stock Company, won the Gold Award in the category of "Outstanding digital technology product in the field of finance, banking, trade and services".
MyTV – MyTV OTT application of Television Service Development Company – Member of VNPT Media Corporation won the Gold Award in the category of “Excellent digital technology product in the fields of education, health, culture and society”.
Elcom ITS Smart Traffic Ecosystem of Elcom Technology - Telecommunication Joint Stock Company won the Gold Award in the category of "Excellent digital technology product in the field of transportation, post and logistics".
And the intelligent software system for controlling robots used in the steel structure manufacturing and plate processing industry - SMAROBICS of Weldcom Industrial Joint Stock Company won the Gold Award for "Excellent digital technology product in the field of industry and construction".
Along with the Gold awards, 8 Silver awards and 9 Bronze awards were also presented to digital technology enterprises that have developed Make in Vietnam technology solutions that are contributing to the country's digital transformation, as well as gradually reaching out to the international market.
Sharing with VietNamNet reporters about the value of the Make in Viet Nam award for Vietnamese digital technology enterprises, Mr. Ngo Tuan Anh - Chairman of the Board of Directors and Director of SCS Cyber Security Company, the unit that won the Top 10 award in 2023 and just won the Bronze award with the smart firewall solution SafeGate Office, said: "The Make in Vietnam award is not only a great encouragement and motivation but also creates new opportunities for Vietnamese technology enterprises".
Mr. Ngo Tuan Anh also said that, due to the specific characteristics of the field, cybersecurity products and solutions often have difficulty reaching customers and consumers. Through the spread of the Make in Vietnam award after many years of organization, cybersecurity solutions of Vietnamese enterprises will have the opportunity to get closer to customers and consumers in both domestic and international markets.
With the strict evaluation and selection of the professional council, the Make in Vietnam awards given to digital technology enterprises are a verification of the quality of products and solutions developed and owned by Vietnamese enterprises. "The Bronze Award of the Make in Vietnam award we have just received will be a motivation for us to continue to persevere on the path we are segueing, actively contributing to gradually realizing the vision of making Vietnam a self-reliant country in terms of network safety and security, protecting the prosperous development of Vietnam in cyberspace" , the representative of SCS Company shared more.
