Infrastructure development continues to be effectively implemented by all levels, sectors and localities in terms of propaganda and mobilization so that people understand and self-renovate, build clean and beautiful houses and campuses, and people's lives are increasingly improved.
People's consensus is increasing day by day
According to Mr. Phan Van Sinh - Deputy Chief of the Office of New Rural Area Coordination of Dak Nong province, in 2011, when implementing the construction of new rural areas, Dak Nong province still faced many difficulties; infrastructure in rural areas was poor, the rate of poor households was high - accounting for 29.25%, the average income of people in rural areas was only 15 million VND/year.
Regarding the assessment according to the New Rural Criteria, the whole province achieved an average of 3.1 criteria/commune, of which the commune achieved the highest 9 criteria, 46 communes achieved less than 5 criteria. However, after 12 years with the high determination of all levels, sectors and the consensus of the people, up to now, the whole province has 36/60 communes recognized as meeting the New Rural standards, accounting for 60%; on average, the whole province, each commune achieved 16.62 criteria, there are no more communes achieving less than 10 criteria.
Regarding the results of implementing the set of criteria for advanced new-style rural communes, up to now, only 1 commune has been recognized as meeting the standards, with an average rate of 8.69 criteria per commune. Regarding the results of implementing the set of criteria for model new-style rural communes, up to now, no commune has been recognized. Currently, communes are practicing implementing the set of criteria for new-style rural communes and advanced new-style rural communes in the period of 2021 - 2025. Sharing about this issue, Vice Chairman of Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Le Trong Yen, suggested that localities need to focus on maintaining the achieved criteria and strive to reach 43 new-style rural communes by 2025.
Mr. Phan Van Sinh commented that the above results were achieved thanks to the joint efforts of the people. Specifically, the people actively and proactively contributed money, working days, donated land, crops, etc., along with the State's support capital to invest in the construction of infrastructure works such as: roads, schools, cultural houses, medical stations, clean water, etc.; the works were solidified, clean and beautiful, gradually meeting the needs of local socio -economic development.
Focusing on the people
According to the assessment of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Dak Nong province, the results achieved in the construction of new rural areas have affirmed the strong leadership and direction of local authorities and the Steering Committees for the construction of new rural areas at all levels. Dak Nong province has successfully initiated and organized many exciting and practical emulation movements to successfully implement the goals and tasks set out by the National Target Program on New Rural Area Construction. This will be a solid foundation for Dak Nong province to continue to effectively implement the Program in the coming time. Although there are many difficulties ahead, with a high spirit of solidarity and unity, localities will complete the tasks of building new rural areas.
Regarding this issue, Mr. Le Trong Yen - Vice Chairman of Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee said: The goal by 2025 is that the whole Dak Nong province will have 43 communes meeting the new rural standards, 3 district-level units completing the task of building new rural standards, 13 communes meeting the advanced new rural standards, 3 communes meeting the model new rural standards; the whole province will achieve an average of 17.2 criteria/commune; the average income of rural people will reach 50 million VND/year. Dak Nong province's rural areas will develop in the direction of increasingly wealthy and prosperous farmers; rural areas will gradually approach urban areas...
According to Mr. Le Trong Yen, in order for the New Rural Construction Program to be increasingly promoted and effective, all levels and sectors must strongly and extensively organize emulation movements in response to movements such as: "Dak Nong joins hands to build New Rural Areas" in the period of 2021 - 2025; Campaign "All people unite to build New Rural Areas and civilized urban areas". In addition, localities also need to further promote propaganda and mobilization work from the village level, hamlet level... to help people realize the positive benefits of joining hands to build New Rural Areas.
