Huynh Nhu confidently aims for the 2025 Southeast Asian women's tournament

Today, July 13, the Vietnamese women's team and Huynh Nhu gathered again to continue actively practicing in preparation for the Southeast Asian women's tournament MSIG Serenity Cup 2025 taking place in Vietnam in early August.

Head coach Mai Duc Chung, in addition to the list of participants in the 2026 Asian women's qualifying round, has added defender Tran Thi Hai Linh ( Hanoi Women's Club), midfielder Tran Thi Thu Xuan and center back Le Thi Bao Tram (Than KSVN Women's Club).

Huynh Nhu and her teammates will train for a week at the Vietnam Youth Football Training Center, before a 10-day training session in Quang Ninh. It is expected that on July 30, coach Mai Duc Chung and his team will arrive in Hai Phong, ready to participate in the 2025 Southeast Asian Women's Football Championship, which will kick off from August 6 to 19.

At the 2025 MSIG Serenity Cup Southeast Asian Women's Football Championship, the Vietnamese women's team is in Group A and will meet opponents Cambodia, Indonesia and Thailand on August 6, 9 and 12 at Lach Tray Stadium (Hai Phong City).

After successfully winning a ticket to the 2026 Asian Women's Finals, Coach Mai Duc Chung and his team continue to set a new goal of winning the highest position at the 2025 Southeast Asian Women's Football Championship, facing competition from Thailand, the Philippines and Indonesia.

In 2022, the Vietnamese women's team watched the Philippines win the championship at home, missing the opportunity to equal the record of 4 championships of rival Thailand. Therefore, Huynh Nhu and her teammates are determined to keep the cup in Vietnam, regaining the title that belonged to us in 2006, 2012 and 2019.
