Mong Cai aims to welcome 4 million tourists in 2024.

The People's Committee of Mong Cai City has just issued a plan to implement solutions to achieve tourism targets for the last three months of the year and for the whole year of 2024.

Mong Cai will organize numerous promotional and marketing activities to attract tourism in the last three months of 2024.

Accordingly, the city is determined to welcome over 997,000 visitors (including 525,000 international visitors and 472,000 domestic visitors) in the last three months of the year; striving to achieve a total of 4 million tourists visiting Mong Cai in 2024 (including over 1.4 million international visitors and over 2.5 million domestic visitors), contributing over 250 billion VND to the state budget in the tourism service sector.

To achieve the above objectives, the city has directed relevant departments, agencies, units, and the People's Committees of communes and wards to develop specific plans, scenarios, and solutions; strengthen communication, promotion, and stimulus to attract tourism; maintain and renew existing products; develop new tourism products; improve the effectiveness of state management; and create a transparent, civilized, safe, and healthy tourism environment.
