This is a meaningful return for the female artist after her international exhibition tours, and also a significant milestone in the creative journey of a young artist who is "stepping out into the world with Vietnamese heritage."

From 2024 to the present, Le Trang has consistently made her mark with works exhibited at four prestigious international exhibitions in London (England), Florence (Italy), and Paris (France). Prior to that, her first solo exhibition in Vietnam, titled "Trang and Paintings," held in Ho Chi Minh City, garnered significant attention from both professionals and the public. In early 2026, "Daydream Among Blossoms" will be her second solo exhibition, bringing Le Trang's latest creations to the public in Hanoi.
The exhibition features 36 oil paintings from four collections: “Hue Heritage”, “Motherhood”, “Home”, and “Still Life”. The works further affirm the poetic and nostalgic painting style of the female artist from Hue . The themes she chooses are mainly nature, flowers, people, landscapes, and especially Vietnamese women in traditional ao dai dresses…

Sharing her thoughts on her painting journey and this exhibition, Le Trang said: “I don't paint perfection, but rather the warmth of simple things in everyday life. And to some extent, it's the childhood memories by the misty Perfume River. All of this combines to create a painting overflowing with natural light, adding color to the light of the Vietnamese soul, a soul that is 'dreaming amidst the afternoon flowers'—a soul that Trang always cherishes and is proud of.”
At the exhibition, many opinions further clarified the widespread influence of Le Trang's paintings. Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen The Ky, Vice Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council, shared that he learned about Le Trang through the press and media when her exhibitions in Italy, France, and England received high praise.

According to Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen The Ky, upon entering the art gallery, the first feeling is one of warmth, comfort, and intimacy. The paintings depict the beauty of Vietnam's land and people, notably the image of gentle, radiant women with profound souls, clearly reflecting the Vietnamese character. People and nature in the paintings are intertwined, reflecting a deep spiritual life. He believes this is the factor that makes Le Trang's paintings so popular with the international public. Images of the ancient capital of Hue, the imperial city, the ao dai (traditional Vietnamese dress), and birds always heading towards their nests create a world of painting rich in cultural identity.

According to Mai Thi Ngoc Oanh, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Fine Arts Association, “‘Dream Amidst the Evening Flowers’ makes an impression right from the exhibition space with its violet hues, a color reminiscent of Hanoi in the days leading up to Tet (Lunar New Year), and also appearing throughout many of Le Trang’s works. Born in Hue, Le Trang’s paintings have a gentle, emotional quality, reflecting images of women and family – values that are both enduring and precious.”
The fact that a young artist, without formal long-term art training, can hold exhibitions both domestically and internationally is considered commendable, demonstrating a love for the profession, determination, and persistent effort. According to art critic Mai Thi Ngoc Oanh, Le Trang's emotionally rich painting style creates a unique characteristic within the flow of contemporary Vietnamese painting.
In the tranquil atmosphere of colors and emotions, the exhibition unfolds a dreamlike realm, allowing viewers to connect with the depths of the Vietnamese soul through lines and colors.
The exhibition runs until January 18th.
