In Vietnam, the first International Children's Day was June 1, 1950. Today, June 1 is celebrated annually and has become a festival to care for and nurture the young generation of the country. Our State has also issued a Decree on the care and protection of adolescents and children, considering this responsibility as the responsibility of the entire population. With many different activities, International Children's Day June 1 is always the day that Vietnamese children look forward to and express their simple childhood wishes.
According to Le Dinh Uy, Tan Binh Secondary School, Dong Xoai City: International Children's Day is the day when children all over the world can enjoy their own day, have fun and receive attention from everyone.
As for Vu Thi Yen Nhi, Phuoc An Primary and Secondary School, Hon Quan District: International Children's Day brings a warmer feeling to children around the world, especially to those who are less fortunate.
Tran Mai Phuong Quynh, An Loc B Primary School, Binh Long Town, really likes International Children's Day, June 1st. Phuong Quynh excitedly shared: I am very excited every time International Children's Day comes because this is an occasion for me to be taken out by my parents, receive gifts and receive many compliments from adults. I also like International Children's Day because this is an occasion for us children to have fun more freely than on normal days.
Besides the joy and excitement of waiting for International Children's Day on June 1 this year, Binh Phuoc children also expect to receive many surprise gifts from adults.
Nguyen Tuan Hung, class 5/1, An Loc B Primary School, Binh Long Town expressed: "I hope that on International Children's Day June 1, all children in the world will have fun, be cared for and be happy. I hope to receive gifts and be taken out by my parents."
Pham Phuong Thao, a student at Tan Tien Secondary School, Dong Phu District, wishes: On International Children's Day, June 1, her family will take her out or travel somewhere.
