Throughout the program is the image of "lullabies" - lullabies of mothers, wives, and Vietnamese women who sent their husbands and children to the battlefield with all their love and steadfast faith. Those lullabies once resounded amidst the smoke and fire of war, once sobbed in nostalgia and longing, and then became sacred symbols of silent but great sacrifice. The lullabies lifted the soldiers into battle, becoming the soundtrack for the desire for independence, unity and peace .
The program is divided into 3 chapters closely linked in terms of emotions: Lullaby in the Storm depicts the resilient fighting spirit of an entire generation through the image of a mother and wife in the rear; Sad Lullaby - The mother's pain quietly recreates immeasurable losses; and Peaceful Lullaby - Continuing dreams opens up faith in a future where lullabies will only resound in peaceful days.
A touching highlight of the program was a report on Vietnamese Heroic Mother Ngo Thi Lang, whose husband and son both died in two wars. To this day, she still does not know exactly where her son lies in the vast cemetery, a pain that cannot be compensated for.

The program also dedicated time to remembering mothers in peacetime such as Vietnamese Heroic Mother Tran Thi Chinh (Ninh Binh), whose son was a police officer in the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Gia Lai province, who died while on a rescue mission. Although it was not during wartime, the pain of losing a child was still heartbreaking, a living testament to the sacrifice.
Television audiences will enjoy immortal songs such as "Que huong anh bo dot", "Duong len tien tien", "Tinh em", "Me yeu con", "Vanh hoa lua", "Ba me Quang Nam" , "Dat nuoc" ... sung by People's Artist Tan Minh, Meritorious Artist Dang Duong, Meritorious Artist Lan Anh, Pham Thu Ha, Thanh Tai, MTV group,... combined with emotional staged scenes, creating an artistic space that is both profound and sacred.
The program ended with a strong message: If I were born again, I would still want to be Vietnamese, a small but proud nation, which has gone through storms with love and indomitability .
The special art program Immortal Epic is directed by Associate Professor Dr. Ta Quang Dong - Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism - as art director and general director.
