Information is curated from TripAdvisor, Google Reviews, then aligned with Instagram engagement as well as each attraction's ease of access, quality accommodations, safety and security.
So what are the top attractions on the list?
Number 1 is the Hungarian Parliament Building in Budapest, followed by Disneyland Paris in France, The Blue Lagoon in Iceland, Plaza de Espana in Spain in fourth place. Number 5 is Angkor Wat, Cambodia; St. Peter's Basilica in Italy; El Ateneo Grand Splendid, a bookstore in Buenos Aires, Argentina, once the most beautiful bookstore in the world; Acropolis in Athens, Greece; New Zealand Museum; Milan Cathedral, Italy.
Destinations in Asia, in addition to Angkor Wat, include Universal Studios Japan (19), ahead of other popular theme parks Tokyo Disney Sea (28), Tokyo Disneyland (34), Universal Studios Singapore (45) and two Hong Kong theme parks: Disneyland (77), Ocean Park (93).
