The 3-4 defeat to Brentford last weekend saw the Manchester team drop to 15th place in the Premier League table, their worst campaign in more than three decades.

A major overhaul is set to take place in the summer, with coach Ruben Amorim in dire need of quality new players who can fit into the 3-4-2-1 system.

However, the precarious financial situation means that MU needs to sell players before seriously investing in new recruits.

Some names are expected to leave, including Rashford, Antony, Jadon Sancho, Victor Lindelof, Jonny Evans, Christian Eriksen.

The remaining members are on the verge of being pushed out of Old Trafford by Amorim and the Man United owners so the club can reduce its bulging wage bill.

According to the Daily Star, only 4 players are certain to stay, including captain Bruno Fernandes, center-back Harry Maguire, Amad Diallo and Patrick Dorgu.

The four players are exempt from transfer fees and will not leave at any price. The remaining members can be sold if the club receives a reasonable offer.

Kobbie Mainoo, Luke Shaw, Manuel Ugarte, Casemiro, Rasmus Hojlund, Matthijs de Ligt, Joshua Zirkzee are also not in the safe zone.

Alejandro Garna, despite his impressive form this season, is still available for transfer. MU are ready to let the young Argentine talent leave Manchester if they receive 65 million pounds.
