According to Nguyen Quang Duong, Chairman of the People's Committee of My Duc commune, from the beginning of January 2026, the functional forces of My Duc commune, with the commune police as the core, have developed a plan and implemented comprehensive measures to ensure that the people can enjoy the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026 in a joyful and safe manner.

The commune leaders requested the commune police force to proactively monitor the situation on key roads, areas, and sectors, promptly resolving emerging issues related to security and order, and avoiding being caught off guard in any situation. They also called for maximum mobilization of forces, resources, and professional methods to focus on suppressing crimes related to "loan sharking," crimes involving weapons and explosives, robbery, theft, drug-related crimes, and other types of crimes commonly occurring during the Tet holiday…

Strengthen patrols and controls to maintain traffic safety and order, focusing on addressing violations that are the main causes of traffic accidents, such as speeding, driving in the wrong lane, and carrying more passengers than permitted. Simultaneously, vigorously promote the nationwide movement to protect national security. Prioritize the use of the internet and social media applications to disseminate legal regulations and receive information and reports on crimes.

The People's Committee of the commune directed all forces, especially the commune police, to strengthen security and order during the Lunar New Year of the Year of the Horse (2026), aiming to mobilize the participation of all departments, agencies, and organizations in the commune. They also emphasized strengthening local security and implementing comprehensive measures to combat all types of crime and violations of the law during the Lunar New Year of the Year of the Horse 2026.

According to Mr. Nguyen Quang Duong, to ensure security and order in the area, the Party Committee and People's Committee of the commune have directed departments, organizations, villages, agencies, and units in the area to closely coordinate with the police force in preventing and combating crime and violations of the law. They have also increased patrol forces and resolutely dealt with cases of deliberate violations of security, urban order, and traffic safety.

During peak hours, the commune's police force assigns personnel to key locations to ensure security and order, and to manage and direct traffic.

One of the key tasks undertaken by the commune authorities during this period is to disseminate legal regulations and crime warnings to raise public awareness of the law and vigilance in crime prevention and control. They also encourage people to sign pledges not to illegally trade, transport, or detonate firecrackers.
