By 2025, tuition fees for international schools in Ho Chi Minh City will approach 1 billion VND/year.

Many international schools have announced tuition fees for the new school year 2025 - 2026, most of which have been adjusted upward.

In the 2025-2026 school year, Ho Chi Minh City International School (ISHCMC) will apply annual tuition fees ranging from VND 681.9 million to VND 959 million/year, depending on the level.

Specifically, tuition fees for grades 1 and 2 are 681.9 million VND; grades 3 and 4 are 727.4 million VND; and grade 5 is 747.1 million VND.

Secondary school starts at VND849.4 million for grades 6 to 8, increases to VND888.2 million for grades 9 and 10, and tops out at VND959 million for grades 11 and 12. This is also the highest in Ho Chi Minh City, approaching VND1 billion per school year.

Compared to the 2024-2025 school year, tuition fees for the 2025-2026 school year at ISHCMC will increase at all levels. For example, grades 9 and 10 will increase from VND862.3 million to VND888.2 million; grades 11 and 12 will increase from VND931 million to VND959 million. The increase ranges from VND19 to VND28 million, equivalent to about 2.9% to 3.2% depending on the level.

In the 2025-2026 school year, British International School BIS HCMC applies tuition fees ranging from VND 238.1 million/year (half-day program for F1 kindergarten children) to VND 956.3 million/year (for students in grades 12-13).

Tuition fees for primary school range from VND648.1 million to VND724.1 million, while secondary school fees increase from VND834.7 million to VND956.3 million. Tuition fees do not include additional fees such as bus transportation, meals, field trips, musical instruments and language support.

Compared to the 2024-2025 school year, tuition fees will increase by an average of 4-5%, equivalent to 30-46 million VND/year depending on the grade level. For example, grade 1 will increase from 617.2 to 648.1 million VND; grades 12-13 will increase from 910.7 to 956.3 million VND.

Meanwhile, Scotch AGS South Australia School announced tuition fees for the 2025-2026 school year from VND316.9 million/year for grades 1-2, increasing gradually through the grades and reaching VND521.5 million/year for grades 10-12.

Tuition fees for grades 3-4 are VND363.2 million, grade 5 is VND404.6 million; middle school ranges from VND450.8 million to VND485.1 million. High school students study the SACE Australian Diploma program, which has the highest tuition fees.

In the 2025-2026 school year, Saigon South International School (SSIS) will apply annual tuition fees ranging from VND 509.8 million (preschool EC 3-4) to VND 882.2 million (grades 11-12).

Tuition for primary school (grades 1-5) is 702.7 million VND; secondary school (grades 6-8) is 749.7 million VND; grades 9-10 is 794.3 million VND; and grades 11-12 is 882.2 million VND.

In addition to tuition fees, parents need to pay additional fees such as registration fees, deposit to hold a seat and pay for meals, buses, extracurricular activities, etc.

Compared to the 2024-2025 school year, the 2025-2026 tuition fee at SSIS will increase from 36 to 45 million VND depending on the grade level, equivalent to 5-6%. For example, the tuition fee for grades 6-8 will increase from 711.3 million to 749.7 million VND; grades 9-10 from 753.6 million to 794.3 million VND and grades 11-12 from 837 million to 882.2 million VND.

At BVIS International School , tuition fees for the entire 2025-2026 school year range from VND250.4 million to VND668.6 million, depending on the grade level. Preschool tuition fees range from VND250.4 million (F1-F2) to VND338.9 million (F3). Primary school tuition fees start at VND472.8 million (grade 1) and increase to VND486.7 million from grades 3 to 6.

Tuition fees for secondary and high schools are higher: grade 7 is 582.6 million VND, grades 8 and 9 are 593.3 million VND; grade 10 is 606.8 million VND and grades 12 - 13 are the highest at 668.6 million VND/year.

Compared to the 2024-2025 school year, tuition fees this year will increase across all grades. For example, tuition fees for grade 1 will increase from VND459.1 million to VND472.8 million; grade 7 will increase from VND538.7 million to VND582.6 million; and grade 12 will increase from VND627.7 million to VND668.6 million. The difference ranges from about VND13 million to more than VND40 million, equivalent to an increase of 3% to 7%.

In the 2025-2026 school year, Canadian International School (CIS) will apply annual tuition fees ranging from VND 531.6 million to VND 804 million/year , depending on the grade level and curriculum.

Specifically, tuition fees for grades 1 to 3 are 531.6 million VND; grades 4-5 are 559.6 million VND; grades 6-8 are 611 million VND; grade 9 is 677.7 million VND; grade 10 is 679.3 million VND; grade 11 is 680.8 million VND; and grade 12 is 785 million VND.

For students following the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP), the tuition fee for grade 11-IB is 720 million VND and grade 12-IB is 804 million VND.

Compared to the 2024 - 2025 school year, tuition fees for the 2025 - 2026 school year at CIS will remain basically the same for most grades.

Tuition fees for international schools in Hanoi are approaching 1 billion VND

For the 2025-2026 school year, the United Nations International School Hanoi (UNIS Hanoi) announced tuition fees ranging from USD 12,570 (about VND 310 million) to USD 38,210 (about VND 944 million) per year, depending on the grade level and program.

The highest tuition fee is for grades 11-12, reaching 38,210 USD/year, equivalent to 992 million VND/year. Students in grades 1-5 pay 31,940 USD (about 789 million VND); grades 6-8 pay 33,750 USD (about 833 million VND); grades 9-10 pay 35,970 USD (about 888 million VND).

Tuition for Early Years classes ranges from $12,570 to $15,870, depending on the length of the program and after-school care.

Compared to the 2024-2025 school year, tuition fees at UNIS Hanoi will increase in most grades. Specifically, the 11-12 grade group will increase by about 1,290 USD, equivalent to nearly 31.3 million VND. The 1-5 grade group will increase by about 1,080 USD (nearly 27 million VND).

In the last two years, tuition fees for grades 11-12 have increased by a total of 2,710 USD (about 67 million VND), while grades 1-5 have increased by 2,270 USD (about 56 million VND) compared to the tuition fees for the 2023-2024 school year.
