Meritorious Artist Ngoc Khanh (opera artist) once received a gift from Mai Vang Charity and musician Nguyen Van Sanh once received a gift from Mai Vang in gratitude. Artist Ngoc Khanh said she tried to introduce the opera artists in far away provinces to receive gifts. Some of them were in very difficult circumstances.
According to the organizers, artist Ngoc Khanh used his own money to rent cars for artists from Dong Nai, Tien Giang , Vinh Long... to come here. At that time, the COVID-19 epidemic was tense, so the gift worth 5 million VND was very valuable. Some artists cried because that amount of money helped cover several months of rent.
Musician Nguyen Van Sanh was recently honored with a program of songs written about Uncle Ho. He said that after retiring, he felt it was his responsibility to convey his respect for Uncle Ho through music to the younger generation.
