Daily Mail reported on September 13 about the death of the 27-year-old singer. Accordingly, an official announcement on MohBad's Instagram social networking site confirmed that he passed away on September 12.
"It is with great sadness that we announce that MohBad has passed away peacefully. The family thanks everyone for their love and prayers. They ask for their privacy during this difficult time. MohBad is finally at peace," the statement read.
The cause of the Nigerian star's death remains a mystery.
Fans and friends of the singer and rapper were quick to express their condolences on social media. They talked about the memories they had with the deceased.
MohBad's real name is Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba. He was signed to Naira Marley's Marlian Records until he left the label in 2022. MohBad is known for his baritone voice and songs including: "Ask About Me", "Pariwo", "Peace"...
