On August 14, Korean actor Jisoo hinted at his comeback in a video titled, "Movie Vlog Documentary EP. 01 The End of Tunnel" uploaded to the YouTube channel JisooRoad.
In the video, he shared: "A lot has happened in the past 4 years. I completed my military service and resolved misunderstandings with friends who spoke up about issues related to me. Now, I am gradually preparing to start over."
In part of the video, Jisoo also revisits the Daehangno neighborhood in Seoul, reminiscing about his early days as an actor when he followed his acting mentor and lived a life immersed in theater.
He emphasized his return to his roots and also mentioned that he has been working hard to learn English for potential international projects, expressing his desire to work in English-speaking films.
Actor Jisoo was embroiled in controversy over allegations of school violence that surfaced on social media in March 2021. At the time, Jisoo admitted to some of the allegations, issued a handwritten apology, and withdrew from the drama he was starring in - “Where The River Moon Rises.”
In May of the same year, Jisoo terminated her exclusive contract with management company KeyEast. In July, the actor filed a lawsuit against the first people who made accusations against her. However, these people were acquitted.
Jisoo then enlisted in the military, worked as a social service worker, and was discharged last October.
Jisoo was born in 1993 and debuted in the TV series "Angry Mom" in 2015. His name became famous when he appeared in works such as "Moon Lovers", "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon"...
