On March 15, Allkpop reported that an unnamed musical actor, temporarily referred to by the alias "A", was arrested. The Gangnam Police Station in Seoul, South Korea, announced on March 14 that "A" was accused of raping and causing injury to a female bar employee. The sexual assault took place on March 13.
Identity of musical actor involved in rape scandal has not been released
The case is under investigation, netizens have many speculations about the actor's identity but there has been no confirmation from authorities.
It is known that "A" once faced accusations of sexually assaulting a female employee at a bar in Busan in 2017. "A" was sentenced to 5 years in prison but was later reduced to 2.5 years after appealing to a higher court.
