Male student Nguyen Trung Kien was once supported by his family to go to the high school graduation exam site (located at Me Tri Secondary School, Nam Tu Liem District, Hanoi ) on a stretcher after he had a traffic accident after taking the Math exam on the first day of the exam.
The accident caused Kien to suffer cervical vertebrae injuries, a fractured first rib, and pleural effusion. He was immediately taken to the emergency room and had his neck immobilized. The male student then had to lie on a stretcher to take the remaining exams for the 2025 high school graduation exam.

Mr. Nguyen Anh Tham (residing in Bac Tu Liem district, Hanoi, the male student's father) said that his son's 2025 high school graduation exam score was not too high, but no subject had a failing score (from 1 or below) and Kien officially had enough points to pass high school graduation. In the high school graduation exam, Kien took 4 subjects including Math, Literature, History and Economic and Legal Education. After the accident, Kien took the History and Economic and Legal Education exams.
According to Mr. Tham, his son's health and activities are normal.
Mr. Tham said that after the high school graduation exam, perhaps because he was a "sports person", his son was fortunate to recover quickly and make it to the aptitude test at Bac Ninh University of Physical Education and Sports - the school Kien wanted to study at. After the graduation exam for about a week, on July 5, Kien took the aptitude test with quite impressive results: 7.25 points for Bodybuilding; 8.25 points for On-the-spot Long Jump; 9.25 points for 100m Run.
According to Mr. Tham, Bac Ninh University of Physical Education and Sports considers admission based on academic records and aptitude test results. His academic records are also good, so together with his aptitude test scores, there is a high chance that his son will be admitted to his dream university.
"Currently, schools have just announced the minimum admission scores, but through general information, it seems that this year's admission scores will be lower than last year. Through calculations, even if the scores are the same as last year, my child can still pass," Mr. Tham hopes.

Previously, after a serious accident that caused broken ribs and pleural effusion, Nguyen Trung Kien (Hanoi) was still taken by his family to the exam site on a stretcher on the morning of June 27 to complete the 2025 high school graduation exam.
The accident happened to Kien on the afternoon of June 26. According to the camera recording, on the way home, when reaching the gas station area on Le Quang Dao Street (Nam Tu Liem District, Hanoi), a car hit Kien from behind, causing him to fall. The accident caused Kien to suffer cervical vertebrae injury, a broken rib number 1, and pleural effusion.
To be able to take the final exams and complete the high school graduation exam, Mr. Tham's family asked the hospital to take Kien to the exam site on the morning of June 27.
At that time, Kien and his family left the hospital at 5am to go to the exam site. Kien could still read, but he could only lie down and write and fill in the answers. From the moment his son entered the exam room, throughout the elective exam (History; Economic and Legal Education), his father sat anxiously in front of the exam school gate.
At 9:30 a.m. on June 27, male student Nguyen Trung Kien finished his elective exam in a conscious state and was taken home by ambulance by his father shortly after.
