Mr. Nguyen Le Que, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Company, said: As the only unit in Dien Bien province performing the task of producing and trading clean water for daily life, Dien Bien Water Supply Joint Stock Company currently manages and operates 12 projects. Of which, there are 9 water plants located in Dien Bien Phu city and districts and towns. In addition to 9 plants, from 2021, the Company has been assigned to manage 3 more rural water supply projects in the communes: Noong Luong, Thanh Hung, Thanh Chan, Thanh Luong.
Recently, the Company's production and business activities have encountered difficulties due to the impact of the epidemic, but the Company has invested in upgrading, renovating and installing additional level II and level III water supply pipelines to bring water to the people of Na Lanh village (Thanh Truong ward); installing booster pumps to supply water to the people of the communes: Sam Mun, Pom Lot, Thanh Hung, Thanh Luong and the central area of Dien Bien district (Dien Bien district).
At water plants in border districts and mountainous areas: Muong Nhe, Nam Po, Dien Bien Dong, Tuan Giao, Tua Chua, Muong Lay town... The company has invested in installing a system to monitor the quality of input and output water to ensure safe water quality for people.
The dry season is also a difficult period for the Company's water supply activities. Therefore, right from the beginning of the dry season, the Board of Directors of Dien Bien Water Supply Joint Stock Company has strengthened the direction of water supply units in districts, towns and cities to regularly check the quality of water sources. At the same time, it has carried out well the maintenance and repair of the water supply system, ensuring that water supply activities take place regularly and continuously during the peak of the dry season.
Along with that, to ensure the supply of clean water for people, the Company has strengthened the direction of departments to ensure production supply to meet customers' water needs, avoiding water shortages; directing functional departments to prepare materials when incidents occur to fix incidents to meet customers' domestic water needs.
The system operation and repair work is carried out by units on duty daily and hourly in shifts and production teams, ensuring timely repair of damage to pipes and water supply systems, without affecting people's water needs.
