Investing in the development of various digital amenities.

Many businesses in Dong Nai city have focused on investing in digital infrastructure, developing cashless payment services, and implementing various solutions to support customers in using digital services and electronic invoices. This contributes to improving customer experience, transparency, and modernization of retail and financial operations, promoting multi-channel consumption…

Mr. Pham Van Nam, Chairman and Director of Petrolimex Dong Nai Co., Ltd. (Tran Bien Ward), stated: To promote digital payment activities, the company has invested early in a comprehensive infrastructure including: server systems, computers for management at the company office and affiliated retail gasoline stations, hundreds of smart fuel pumps and POS payment devices. The company has also invested in and installed main and backup transmission lines, other telecommunications equipment, and deployed software systems such as EGAS, ERP-SAP, and D-Office… In addition, the company has proactively coordinated with the tax authorities on the issuance of electronic invoices. These are important infrastructures and conditions for the company's digital transformation and the implementation of electronic invoices and cashless payments.

Furthermore, Petrolimex Dong Nai actively guides customers in using digital payments; simultaneously implementing programs to encourage customers to request invoices after each purchase, promoting cashless payments through customer conveniences, communication activities, promotional programs, lucky draws, etc., to gradually form modern consumption habits. In addition, increased use of electronic invoices helps minimize the printing of receipts and sales invoices, reducing the mechanical circulation in management and accounting, especially the storage of traditional paper invoices, thereby contributing to saving the company billions of dong each year…

In the context of rapid digital transformation, improving the efficiency of cashless payments is no longer just a trend but has become an essential need in the daily lives of every citizen. Consumers now expect a comprehensive digital payment ecosystem where transactions ranging from shopping and tuition payments to public services can be conducted online quickly and securely via computers, phones, or other digital devices.

Currently, banks in Dong Nai city are implementing many online banking services and developing digital services. This helps people have more opportunities to experience and use digital banking services more easily and conveniently, contributing to promoting cashless payments.

Deputy Director of the State Bank of Vietnam, Region 2 Branch, Nguyen Duc Leinh, shared: The quality of banking services and cashless payment activities in the economy is expanding in Dong Nai. People and businesses are increasingly using account services, benefiting from convenience, speed, safety, and security. Modern payment and money transfer methods are becoming more common through the use of card services, Internet Banking, Mobile Banking, QR code scanning, etc.

Expectations for expansion and connectivity of digital service infrastructure.

Many citizens hope that service providers will continue to optimize their technological infrastructure to ensure high stability and avoid system errors during peak hours. In addition, security and protecting user rights against online fraud risks are also top concerns. Expanding these services should not be limited to large cities but should extend to small shops and traditional markets in remote areas, giving all customer segments access to a transparent and convenient digital economy.

According to Pham Duc Nam, Head of the Long Thanh Market Management Board (Long Thanh Ward): In recent times, Long Thanh Market has coordinated with local authorities, units, and banks to promote various forms of communication and support for traders in installing and using cashless payment applications and QR codes to boost digital payments. Currently, more than 70% of traders in the market have installed and are using cashless payment applications.

Mr. Le Thanh Tung (from Bien Hoa ward) shared: “I expect that agencies and units will strengthen coordination with the banking system to soon promote the integration of QR code payments across all applications, helping people avoid having to install too many different apps. In my opinion, there should be more incentive programs, cashback, and reduced online transaction fees to encourage those who still use cash to switch to using e-wallets. In addition, simplifying the process of paying electricity, water bills, and public administrative fees through a single portal will save people a lot of time.”

Deputy Director of the State Bank of Vietnam, Region 2 Branch, Nguyen Duc Lenh, emphasized: The increasing focus and improvement in service quality and customer care by credit institutions in Dong Nai province will be a driving force in attracting customers, as well as a "soft" competitive advantage for each credit institution today, especially in the new development phase of the locality.
