The workshop was organized by MISA Joint Stock Company (MISA) in collaboration with the Vietnam Software and Information Technology Services Association (VINASA) and the Ho Chi Minh City Young Entrepreneurs Association.
Representative of the Organizing Committee, Mr. Le Hong Quang, General Director of MISA affirmed that AI is a key tool in modern corporate governance.
He emphasized: “Businesses need to change both technology and management thinking to effectively apply AI. If we do not act immediately, we will fall behind and risk being eliminated from the game."
Mr. Le Hong Quang also emphasized the purpose of the workshop in accompanying businesses in applying AI to improve competitiveness.
Opening the program, Dr. Can Van Luc, Chief Economist of BIDV , Member of the Prime Minister's Policy Advisory Council, analyzed the world and Vietnam economic picture in the period of 2025-2026 with challenges of slow growth, inflation, political conflicts...
To cope with the challenges, Dr. Can Van Luc recommends that businesses take advantage of support policies, optimize operations, streamline the apparatus and reduce costs. In the long term, businesses need to focus on two important strategic trends: digital transformation and green transformation, especially AI application.

According to TechUK survey (2024), the fields that use AI the most are marketing (54%), technology (39%) and finance (16%).
AI not only optimizes processes and makes intelligent forecasts, but also improves competitiveness and business efficiency. To grow sustainably, businesses need to prepare a strong technology foundation, develop human resources, and exploit opportunities from AI.
Sharing the same view with Dr. Can Van Luc, Ms. Luong Thi Anh Tuyet, Deputy General Director, Market Leader of PwC Vietnam, emphasized that AI is having a deep, wide and fast impact on a global scale, from governments , businesses to workers.
82% of Asia Pacific CEOs have adopted GenAI (to varying degrees) in the past 12 months, and achieved results such as: 37% reported increased revenue, 40% recorded higher profits, 58% noticed employee performance.
According to Ms. Tuyet, AI is creating a need for new skills, with 69% of CEOs believing that GenAI will require employees to equip themselves with new skills.
Ms. Tuyet affirmed: "AI does not replace leadership, but will change the way we lead". AI is effectively solving many problems in business administration, from automating large tasks, reducing time and cost of data analysis, to quickly supporting administrators in decision making and optimizing human resources, improving operational efficiency.
Sharing about the strategy of applying AI and smart data in business management, Mr. Le Hong Quang, General Director of MISA, said that the rate of businesses applying AI in management increased from 33% in 2022 to 72% in 2024 (according to IBM, Forbes, McKinsey). Businesses that apply data to make decisions can increase their ability to attract customers 23 times higher than traditional businesses.
Keeping up with the trend of applying AI in management, MISA developed the AI assistant MISA AVA, integrated into the unified enterprise management platform MISA AMIS.
MISA AVA helps businesses quickly query data, provide visual reports and in-depth analysis, creating a solid foundation for strategic decisions.
At the same time, with AI technology and data analysis, MISA AVA also forecasts important indicators, supports flexible management, and optimizes operational efficiency.

Applying AI helps increase customer care productivity by 1.71 times by using 350 people instead of 600 people to take care of customers, while optimizing financial processes, automating accounting and supporting businesses to access capital faster.
Currently, more than 5,000 businesses have been granted a loan limit of VND 25,000 billion through MISA's AI platform, with a disbursement success rate 10 times higher than conventional methods.
In 2025, MISA will continue to deploy the AI Agent and OneAI platforms to carry out the mission of "popularizing AI" for businesses.
