The workshop was jointly organized by MISA Joint Stock Company (MISA), the Vietnam Software and Information Technology Services Association (VINASA), and the Ho Chi Minh City Young Entrepreneurs Association.

Representing the organizing committee, Mr. Le Hong Quang, General Director of MISA, affirmed that AI is a key tool in modern business management.

He emphasized: "Businesses need to change both their technology and management mindset to effectively apply AI. If we don't act now, we will fall behind and risk being left out of the game."

Mr. Le Hong Quang also emphasized the purpose of the workshop in supporting businesses in applying AI to enhance their competitiveness.

Opening the program, Dr. Can Van Luc, Chief Economist of BIDV and Member of the Prime Minister's Policy Advisory Council, analyzed the global and Vietnamese economic landscape for the period 2025-2026, highlighting challenges such as slow growth, inflation, and political conflicts.

To address the challenges, Dr. Can Van Luc recommends that businesses leverage support policies, optimize operations, streamline their structures, and reduce costs. In the long term, businesses need to focus on two key strategic trends: digital transformation and green transformation, especially the application of AI.

According to a TechUK survey (2024), the sectors that use AI the most are marketing (54%), technology (39%), and finance (16%).

AI not only optimizes processes and provides intelligent forecasting but also improves competitiveness and business efficiency. For sustainable growth, businesses need to prepare a strong technological foundation, develop a skilled workforce, and leverage the opportunities offered by AI.

Echoing Dr. Can Van Luc's sentiment, Ms. Luong Thi Anh Tuyet, Deputy General Director and Market Leader at PwC Vietnam, emphasized that AI is having a profound, widespread, and rapid impact globally, affecting governments , businesses, and workers alike.

82% of CEOs in the Asia Pacific region have adopted GenAI (to varying degrees) in the past 12 months, achieving results such as: 37% reporting increased revenue, 40% recording higher profits, and 58% noticing improved employee productivity.

According to Ms. Tuyet, AI is creating a demand for new skills, with 69% of CEOs believing that GenAI will require employees to acquire new skills.

Ms. Tuyet affirmed: "AI will not replace leadership, but it will change the way we lead." AI is effectively solving many problems in business management, from automating large tasks and reducing the time and cost of data analysis, to quickly assisting managers in decision-making and optimizing human resources, improving operational efficiency.

Sharing insights on the strategy for applying AI and intelligent data in business management, Mr. Le Hong Quang, General Director of MISA, stated that the percentage of businesses applying AI to management increased from 33% in 2022 to 72% in 2024 (according to IBM, Forbes, and McKinsey). Businesses that utilize data for decision-making can attract customers up to 23 times more effectively than traditional businesses.

Keeping pace with the trend of applying AI in management, MISA has developed the MISA AVA AI assistant, integrating it into the MISA AMIS unified enterprise management platform.

MISA AVA helps businesses quickly access data, generate intuitive reports, and conduct in-depth analysis, creating a solid foundation for strategic decisions.

Simultaneously, with AI technology and data analytics, MISA AVA also forecasts key indicators, supporting flexible management and optimizing operational efficiency.

Currently, more than 5,000 businesses have been granted loan limits totaling VND 25 trillion through MISA's AI platform, with a successful disbursement rate 10 times higher than conventional methods.

In 2025, MISA will continue to deploy the AI Agent and OneAI platforms to fulfill its mission of "popularizing AI" for businesses.
