NCA introduces cybersecurity training and certification platform

NDO - This morning, the National Cybersecurity Association (NCA) introduced the nCademy Cybersecurity Training and Certification Platform. The platform was built with the goal of creating a learning community, raising awareness and in-depth research on cybersecurity.

The nCademy platform provides online courses, from basic to advanced, supporting multiple platforms: web applications and mobile applications. The platform's learning materials are diversely built, with study and practice guides and vivid visual illustrations.

In particular, nCademy focuses on practical training through simulation environments and can simulate many real-world systems. In addition, the artificial intelligence application platform helps personalize learning paths, recommend appropriate courses, support learning outcomes assessment and confirm cybersecurity skills. Cybersecurity certificates will be provided in printed or electronic form with digital signatures.

Mr. Vu Ngoc Son, Head of Technology Department, National Cyber Security Association informed: In the coming time, Vietnam is expected to lack more than 700,000 specialized personnel in cyber security.

A survey by the National Cyber Security Association found that more than 20% of agencies and businesses in Vietnam do not have specialized personnel in cyber security and 35.56% of units do not have enough personnel to meet cyber security needs.

nCademy's certification system will contribute to standardizing competencies, aiming to be widely used and recognized as equivalent to popular international certificates currently in Vietnam.

The advantage of nCademy is that it is deployed and operated centrally to overcome the unevenness in technology infrastructure and resources of agencies and organizations. At the same time, it increases the ability to access high-quality training services for learners without being limited by geography. Learners will develop comprehensive skills, take exams and be certified after completing the course.

The courses will be provided free of charge to disseminate knowledge. The nCademy platform is expected to be tested on a small scale for three weeks at nCademy.vn. The platform will officially go into operation from May 6, 2025.

The Association expects that nCademy's certification system will contribute to standardizing competencies, aiming to be widely used and recognized as equivalent to popular international certificates currently in Vietnam.
