Russia intercepts many drones

Russian air defense systems have intercepted several Ukrainian drones targeting the country's cities on the eve of the 79th anniversary of Victory Day.

According to Russia Today TV channel, on the morning of May 9, there were a number of attacks targeting the Belgorod, Bryansk and Krasnodar regions.

Belgorod Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov posted on Telegram that eight people, including an 11-year-old girl, in the region were injured in the attacks.

In a separate incident, at least six drones targeted an oil facility near Anapa in Russia’s Krasnodar region. The attack caused some material damage and a fire, but no injuries.
