Russian air defense systems intercepted several Ukrainian drones targeting cities in the country on the 79th anniversary of Victory Day.
According to the Russia Today television channel, several attacks occurred on the morning of May 9th in the Belgorod, Bryansk, and Krasnodar regions.
Belgorod Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov posted on Telegram that eight people, including an 11-year-old girl, in the area were injured in the attacks.
In another incident, at least six drones targeted an oil facility near Anapa in the Krasnodar region of Russia. The attack caused some material damage and a fire, but no injuries.
