Snake mascot in Quang Tri

This snake mascot that has caused a stir online is located at a tourist area in Huong Tan commune, Huong Hoa district. The creator is still artisan Dinh Van Tam (34 years old, a sculptor in An Da village, Trieu Do commune, Trieu Phong district), who created the mascot of Quang Tri province years ago.

The Quang Tri snake mascot is considered beautiful and feminine with its earthy orange color, sparkling eyes, and a fancy hat. The structure is 1.7 meters high, 1.7 meters wide, and 2.5 meters long, made mainly of cement, and painted after shaping.

It took artist Dinh Van Tam 10 days to complete the work, combining his own ideas and some details he found online. According to him, the most difficult part of making the mascot was shaping the snake’s head. This detail alone took Tam about two days because it was very difficult to shape the face and eyes to make them look soulful.

As soon as it was launched, the Quang Tri snake mascot attracted the attention of the online community with positive comments. "The snake in Quang Tri is so cute, so different from the scary image of snakes"; "It's still the 'magic' hand of the artisan who created the annual divine mascot in Quang Tri"...

Cho Lach Cultural Tourism Village became the center of attention of the online community when it revealed a new and unprecedented mascot - a green snake wearing a vest, cleverly combining humor and boldness, bringing surprise and excitement to viewers.
