Lang Son promotes the implementation of STEM education and digital citizenship skills

GD&TĐ - On August 14, the Department of Education and Training of Lang Son organized a training course on STEM education and digital citizenship skills education for primary school level.

The program had the direct participation of 244 delegates who are managers in charge of primary school professional matters; connecting online to more than 4,200 delegates who are experts in charge of cultural and social fields at the commune level, key officials and teachers on implementing digital citizenship skills and STEM education through 155 connecting points across the province.

At the program, experts and reporters provided guidance and direction on the implementation of STEM education, digital citizenship skills education and digital transformation at the primary level.

Many important contents on STEM education and digital citizenship skills education for primary school level were deployed in the training program.

In addition, some notable contents were also deployed: Building an education plan, designing and developing lesson plans for STEM education content at primary school level; building an education plan, enhancement plan, and plan for digital citizenship skills education clubs at primary school level; building an education plan that integrates digital citizenship skills education, designing and developing lesson plans for digital citizenship skills education content into primary school subjects.

According to the Department of Education and Training of Lang Son , STEM education, digital citizenship skills education and digital transformation are identified by the industry as key contents that need to be promoted, in order to effectively contribute to improving the quality of teaching and learning.
