On November 21, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training held a meeting with 100 students participating in the course "Training and improving teaching methods and information technology abroad for teachers to achieve IELTS scores from high to low" in 2025 in Australia.
The course lasts 14 days, including 12 days of actual study, 1 day of departure, 1 day of return, and is held in Sydney. This year, the oldest teacher was born in 1976, the youngest teacher was born in 2003.
Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Tran The Cuong - Permanent Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Council, former Director of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training highly appreciated the efforts of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training in implementing the City People's Committee's Plan on improving the quality of foreign language teachers, meeting the requirements of educational innovation and international integration.

2025 is the third year that the Hanoi Department of Education and Training has been entrusted by the Hanoi People's Committee to host the course. Previously, in 2022 and 2023, the Department of Education and Training successfully organized two courses, sending 255 teachers to Sydney.
With a modern, systematic and professional training program, the results are very proud. Teachers have clearly grown in professional capacity, teaching methods, information technology skills and especially in integrated educational thinking.
The training course not only provides new knowledge about school management, active teaching methods, STEAM education, innovative assessment and evaluation, but also helps each staff broaden their vision, approach modern educational thinking, school culture and effective educational institution operating models. These are practical and valuable lessons that directly contribute to improving the quality of staff and education quality in the capital.

“Continuing to invest in teachers to study abroad shows the special concern of the city leaders for education and the future of the young generation. The 100 teachers participating in the course, with their knowledge, sense of responsibility and pride in their profession, will be Hanoi's educational ambassadors in foreign countries,” Mr. Tran The Cuong emphasized.
Representing the delegation attending the course, Deputy Director of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training Tran Luu Hoa - Head of the delegation promised to strictly comply with regulations, maintain the image of a friendly, civilized, disciplined teacher in the capital; ensure absolute safety throughout the learning process; actively exchange, learn, boldly approach new things; maintain the spirit of solidarity and mutual support.
Deputy Director of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training Tran Luu Hoa hopes that after the course, teachers will not only learn and accumulate valuable experiences for themselves in teaching but also spread and share the valuable lessons learned with friends and colleagues in Vietnam; and students will enjoy these good results, contributing to gradually making English the second language in schools.
