This event is the 9th activity in a series of 11 national student science conferences, associated with 11 strategic technology groups in accordance with Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation, while concretizing the Party and State's policies on developing high-quality young human resources in the digital age.
Blockchain technology, with its security, transparency and decentralization capabilities, has been opening up new directions in financial management, digital transactions, capital mobilization and operation of digital economic ecosystems. In the context of comprehensive digital transformation, Blockchain applications in the fields of finance, banking, securities and innovative startups are becoming an inevitable trend.
Emphasizing the role of Blockchain technology, Mr. Tran Quang Hung, Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Youth Union, affirmed: The world is entering a period of strong development of blockchain technology (also known as Blockchain technology), a technology that is not only limited to the financial sector but also opens up a wide application space in the fields of education , healthcare, energy, logistics, public administration, data security or artificial intelligence. With its transparent, secure and decentralized characteristics, Blockchain has been fundamentally changing the way people approach, build trust and operate governance systems in the digital world.
At the same time, Mr. Tran Quang Hung said: The workshop marks an important step, continuing to affirm the role of Vietnamese students in contributing to promoting and making Blockchain a pillar of digital infrastructure, serving the national digital transformation process, developing the digital economy and consolidating technological sovereignty in the new era.
Emphasizing the goal of the student scientific seminar series, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Manh Thieu, Deputy Director, Chairman of the Trade Union of the Academy of Finance, mentioned creating an open academic space where students, lecturers, young researchers and technology enterprises can meet, exchange expertise and share practical perspectives.
Through this, proposals, models and feasible solutions will be formed to apply Blockchain technology to financial management and fundraising activities in a more transparent, safe and effective way. At the same time, the event is also an important opportunity to nurture and develop a young workforce with innovative thinking, the ability to access and master advanced technology, and nurture the desire for creative startups, contributing to the sustainable development of the country.
At the Workshop, the guests mentioned the trends, opportunities, risks in financial management and capital calling for Blockchain applications; the issue of applying Blockchain in banking operations in Vietnam... and presented international experiences; recommendations for Vietnam in the field of Tax Policy with crypto assets;
In particular, the workshop had the participation of students through research in the field of Blockchain, typically the presentation "Mastering data - Applying Artificial Intelligence to the field of Blockchain: The creative journey of students" by student Nguyen Thuy Quynh, Faculty of Public Finance, Academy of Finance to propose the model "HUB NDA Data Group" - an initiative of the Youth Union - Association, National Data Association to foster data capacity, apply AI and spread the culture of innovation among students.
Student Nguyen Tai Hung, CEO and founder of FandY, student of the Faculty of Computer Science, School of Information Technology and Communications, Hanoi University of Science and Technology presented the topic "Decentralized Finance and the Transfer of Power from Financial Institutions to Smart Contracts"; referring to the change in power structure in finance, opportunities and challenges for the current financial system, as well as the impacts on businesses and users.
The successful conference demonstrated the pioneering role of Vietnamese students in the journey of innovation, research and mastery of technology, while concretizing the guidelines and policies of the Party, the State, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the Vietnam Student Association on the development of science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation, while orienting the method of connection, supporting the development of professional capacity, promoting breakthroughs in scientific research and digital transformation of Vietnamese students, making a practical contribution to the socio-economic development of the country.
