Since November 23, a working group led by Director of the Department of Education and Training Le Thi Thanh Xuan has inspected educational facilities in the province that suffered damage after floods.

Accordingly, the delegation inspected the response and recovery work and visited and encouraged cadres, teachers, staff, students and people who suffered losses caused by the floods.

At educational institutions, members of the working delegation kindly visited, encouraged and motivated all cadres, teachers, staff and students to overcome all difficulties to continue teaching and learning activities, ensuring the program and progress of semester 1 of the 2025-2026 school year.

The delegation also guided educational institutions on how to count, review and monitor damage to ensure the safety of buildings and schools after floods.

Currently, educational institutions are focusing on cleaning schools and classrooms; reporting damage statistics to authorities for timely support; connecting and mobilizing social resources to prioritize scholarships for students severely affected by floods.

Director of the Department of Education and Training Le Thi Thanh Xuan said that, basically, educational institutions have been proactive in responding to floods; minimizing the impact and having solutions to clean up and fix when the water recedes. Many teachers have put aside their housework to stay at school to clean up with the motto "clean up as the water recedes"...

The working group also requested the People's Committees of communes and wards to pay attention and provide more support for the families of students affected by the damage to resettle, helping them to study with peace of mind.

On this occasion, Director of the Department of Education and Training Le Thi Thanh Xuan presented gifts of gratitude to localities and educational establishments, contributing to overcoming difficulties and losses caused by floods.

According to the latest statistics of the Department of Education and Training, the whole industry suffered more than 178 billion VND due to floods.
