Local militia transported goods from relief vehicles to the assembly point to give gifts to people.

Family medicine kits, including fever reducers, oral rehydration solution (ORS), diarrhea medicine, cold medicine, antiseptic solution and first aid supplies, were delivered to two medical stations in Hoa Xuan commune and Phu Yen ward to promptly support primary health care for people in flood-affected areas.

These are essential medicines that help people proactively handle common medical situations after floods, limiting the risk of disease outbreaks in polluted environments, unsafe water sources, and a difficult primary health care system after natural disasters.

Presented 200 family medicine bags to Hoa Xuan commune.

Along with medical support, the delegation also gave clothes and necessities to help people in these two localities stabilize their lives in the short term. These included 800 windbreakers, 720 snow blankets, 600 boxes of instant noodles, 400 boxes of mineral water, 100 boxes of milk, 30 boxes of laundry detergent - shower gel, along with 4 packages of new clothes, rice and cakes, distributed to people in villages that suffered heavy losses due to floods.

In addition, the delegation also donated 20,000 notebooks and 12,000 Thien Long pens to support students in flood-affected areas to return to school soon. The total cost of this support is estimated at nearly 500 million VND.

Giving gifts and relief rice to flood victims.

At the gift-giving ceremony, Mr. Le Duc Phung, representative of the delegation of doctors and pharmacists of Ho Chi Minh City, shared: “Given the losses that people in flood-affected areas have suffered, we hope that this sharing will help them ease some of their difficulties. Hopefully, this small contribution will give them more confidence to soon stabilize their lives.”

Provincial Party Committee member, Standing Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission Ho Quang De said that the eastern part of Dak Lak province suffered heavy damage after the historic flood, many medical stations and schools were deeply submerged, making people's lives extremely difficult. Mr. Ho Quang De expressed his gratitude for the timely and kind support of the delegation of doctors and pharmacists from Ho Chi Minh City for the people during natural disasters and hardships.
