All of these goods were donated by officers, reporters, collaborators in the Southeast region of the Vietnam Law Newspaper Representative Office in Ho Chi Minh City and partners, demonstrating the spirit of sharing and community responsibility during the time when people in flood-affected areas are facing many difficulties, under the direction of Dr. Vu Hoai Nam, Editor-in-Chief of Vietnam Law Newspaper.
Early this morning, authorized by Dr. Vu Hoai Nam, Editor-in-Chief of Vietnam Law Newspaper and Editorial Board of Vietnam Law Newspaper, the working group led by Mr. Huynh Ngoc Hieu, Deputy Head of Representative Office in Ho Chi Minh City, brought the goods to the people of Phu Thanh ward, Dak Lak province.
The number of goods that Vietnam Law Newspaper supports people this time is about more than 20 tons including 35 types of essential goods, meeting the urgent living needs of households in disaster areas. Among them are 6,000 chicken eggs, 5 tons of delicious sticky rice (packed 5kg/bag), more than 3,200 boxes of milk, more than 860 boxes of other types of noodles.
In addition to food, the delegation also donated many daily necessities such as white sugar, laundry detergent, cakes, and more than 5,700 bottles of bottled water from many brands. These essential items helped people maintain their daily lives in the first days of overcoming the consequences of natural disasters, when local resources were limited.
In addition to food, the program also provides many items for daily life and disease prevention after floods such as gloves, raincoats, warm blankets, rice paper, sanitary napkins, clean, sorted used clothes, diapers, dishwashing liquid, toothpaste, shampoo, toothbrushes and many essential medicines. These are all items that are often in short supply during and after prolonged floods.
This charity activity not only has material significance but also spreads the spirit of “helping each other”, demonstrating the dedication of the staff, reporters, collaborators of Vietnam Law Newspaper and partner businesses in sharing difficulties with people in flood-affected areas. These practical and timely gifts will be an important source of encouragement to help people stabilize their lives and soon overcome the difficult period after the natural disaster.
