Today is the first day the children return to class, but many children have not forgotten the difficulties they have just experienced. Phan Cong Thien (2nd grade student) shared: "My books and notebooks are all wet, for the past few days my whole family has only eaten meals brought by others. I am very happy to receive notebooks and milk. I hope many friends from families facing difficulties and damage due to the flood will also receive help like me!"

The relief team of Khanh Hoa Provincial Women's Union, Khanh Hoa Newspaper and Radio - Television Station gave gifts and encouraged students.

Here, the delegation presented 50 uniforms to students from grades 1 to 5. In addition, 200 gifts including Vinamilk milk and notebooks were handed to the students. Looking at the innocent and smiling eyes of the students, the teachers could not hide their emotions.

Although the recent flood caused many difficulties, thanks to this timely attention, the children have more confidence to continue studying.

Continuing the journey, the delegation arrived at Dien Dien Kindergarten (Dien Dien Commune), which was heavily damaged in the flood. The school has not yet been able to welcome students back to school, everything is still in disarray. The delegation gave 300 gifts to the students, the school will notify parents to come and receive them.

Ms. Huynh Thi Xuan My - Vice Principal of Dien Dien Kindergarten - said that the recent flood caused the school to be submerged 2 meters deep, and all the children's school supplies were severely damaged. Currently, teachers and Navy Region 4 forces are actively supporting the cleanup to quickly welcome the children back to school.

"Fortunately, all the students at the school are safe. We are very grateful to the delegation for traveling far to give gifts and provide timely support to the children," Ms. My shared.

Ms. Nguyen Quynh Nga, Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Women's Union, shared: "Although the children have returned to school, many of them, because their houses are in deep flooded areas, had their clothes and books swept away, are in dire need of help from philanthropists. This will also be a regular activity to continue to accompany and share with the children. I hope the children will soon return to their normal learning rhythm and always be happy every day at school," Ms. Nga said.
