Shinhan Bank implements "localization" strategy to expand branch network to Long AN

The opening of Long An Branch is part of Shinhan Bank's network expansion strategy in 2024, bringing the total number of the bank's branches/transaction offices to 52 nationwide.

This is also the first branch of Shinhan Bank in Long An province, marking an important milestone in implementing the "localization" strategy, aiming to approach and bring superior financial products/services to local customers.

Long An Province is located in the Mekong Delta, in the Southern Key Economic Zone, only about 45 km from the center of Ho Chi Minh City, is the gateway connecting the Southeast with the Mekong Delta. The province has a complete regional transportation system including roads and waterways and is the largest consumer market for agricultural products in the Mekong Delta.

Since the beginning of 2024, Long An has received FDI capital from about 40 countries and territories with 1,282 projects with a total registered capital of over 11.1 million USD, a bright spot in attracting FDI investment in the region. Therefore, this is also an opportunity for Shinhan Bank - Long An Branch to promote its existing strengths in becoming a bridge connecting FDI enterprises and local enterprises, expanding investment cooperation opportunities through professional financial services.

Located in the center of Tan An city, Shinhan Bank - Long An Branch offers customers a full range of financial products and solutions such as: capital mobilization, credit activities, payment services, treasury, along with modern and safe electronic banking services for individual and corporate customers.

On the occasion of the opening of Long An Branch, this September, Shinhan Bank also sponsored 50 scholarships for disadvantaged students in the province with a total value of 50 million VND through the Vietnam Children's Fund.
