Industrial production value reached 88 trillion VND
After nearly 3 years of implementing the Resolution of the Party Congress of the Department of Industry and Trade, the industry and trade sector has achieved remarkable results. The estimated value of industrial production in the first half of the term reached VND 88,200 billion, an average growth of 5.63%/year (Resolution 17.4%/year). The total retail sales of goods and consumer service revenue is estimated at VND 141,894 billion, an average growth of 8.42%/year (Resolution 17.2%/year). Export turnover reached 3,551 million USD, an average growth of 6.45%/year (Resolution 13.2%).
Since the beginning of 2021, the province has developed about 141 new enterprises, mainly in the fields of food processing, agricultural products, garments, electricity, etc. with a total registered capital of about 3,005 billion VND, creating jobs for about 4,900 workers. Districts and cities are actively calling for infrastructure investment as well as proposing solutions to arrange and mobilize capital to develop industrial clusters (ICs) in the management area. To date, 9 ICs have been established, with a total area of 329.3 hectares. 4 ICs have invested and come into operation. The ICs have 27 registered investment projects, with a total capital of about 7,833 billion VND, creating jobs for about 9,933 workers, of which 13/27 projects have come into operation.
Foreign market trade promotion activities through channels such as the National Trade Promotion Program, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs , etc. have initially brought about practical results.
In the coming time, the Party Committee of the Department of Industry and Trade will continue to lead and perform well its advisory role to the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Committee and the Ministry of Industry and Trade to well perform the task of socio-economic development, striving to achieve the highest level of the targets set by the Resolution of the Congress. Focus on strongly, drastically and specifically implementing the goals, tasks and solutions of Program No. 08-CTr/TU dated January 29, 2021 of the Provincial Party Committee on developing key industries and the province's business force in the period of 2020 - 2025, with a vision to 2030; Plan for developing industrial clusters in the province in the period of 2021 - 2025, focusing on investing in infrastructure of An Hoa Tay Industrial Cluster, Son Quy Industrial Cluster and land allocation.
Stable agricultural development
After half of the term of implementing the Resolution of the Party Congress of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, the agricultural production situation of the province has maintained a stable and comprehensive growth rate. Economic restructuring has taken place in a positive trend: Sector I reached 35.37%. The average GRDP growth rate of the agricultural sector in the period of 2020 - 2022 increased by an average of 3.2%/year, reaching 91.4% compared to the Resolution target. Up to now, 10/23 targets have been achieved and exceeded; 7/23 targets have reached over 50%; 3/23 targets are being implemented; and 2 targets with low achievement are the number of communes meeting model new rural standards (NTM) and building districts meeting NTM standards.
Continue to focus on developing food processing, agricultural, garment and electricity industries.
The entire agricultural sector has focused on implementing and achieving initial results in the Agricultural Restructuring Project, towards quality, safety, and increasing production value according to the value chain. The rural economy has shifted towards promoting industrial and service development and diversifying occupations, contributing significantly to promoting growth and economic restructuring of the province. In 2022, the average income per capita/year in rural areas will be 53 million VND (an increase of 13 million VND compared to the end of 2020).
The total number of communes building new rural areas in the province is currently 139. Up to now, the total number of communes meeting new rural standards in the province is 80, of which 23 communes have met advanced new rural standards (recognized in 2021 - 2022). Of the 23 communes meeting advanced new rural standards, 2 communes in 2 districts have met model new rural standards (recognized in 2022).
Orienting the remaining half of the term, Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development Doan Van Danh said: The Department focuses on implementing Conclusion No. 359-KL/TU, the Agricultural restructuring plan associated with the construction of new rural areas; the plan to implement Resolution No. 19-NQ/TW of the Central Executive Committee, Decision No. 150/QD-TTg, Decree No. 57/2018/ND-CP, Decree No. 98/2018/ND-CP of the Government and policies related to the fields of agriculture, farmers and new rural areas; encouraging enterprises to invest in agriculture and rural areas, combining agricultural production with tourism and other types of services. Focusing on restructuring the agricultural sector to ensure synchronization and feasibility with land use plans, plans, and plans for new rural areas. Accelerate the construction and completion of agricultural value chains associated with the completion of circular economic models, integration, and construction of green enterprise and circular enterprise models.
