On June 1, at the Central Cultural House of Nam Lu Commune (Muong Khuong), the Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union - Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union organized the Peak Day program of Volunteer Soldiers for Beloved Juniors "Supporting children in difficult circumstances" in 2024.
Attending the program were comrade Hoang Manh Linh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, Chairman of the Provincial Youth Union Council; leaders of Muong Khuong District People's Committee, Muong Khuong District Youth Union; a large number of union members, youth, teenagers and children of Nam Lu commune.

The peak day of Volunteer Soldiers for Beloved Juniors "Supporting children in difficult circumstances" is part of a series of activities responding to the 2024 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign. The activities aim to raise awareness and responsibility of Party committees, authorities at all levels, sectors, and organizations, especially leaders in directing, managing and implementing the Party's guidelines and policies, and the State's policies and laws on child protection and care.



The peak day of Volunteer Soldiers for Beloved Juniors "Supporting Children in Difficult Circumstances" in 2024 will be held simultaneously at all Youth Union, Association and Team bases in the whole province, ensuring practicality, effectiveness and suitability to the actual situation of each locality. The program focuses on 3 contents: organizing recreational activities, creative experiences, equipping skills for children; organizing activities to protect, care for, support children and building works and tasks to support children in difficult circumstances.

Speaking at the program, comrade Hoang Manh Linh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, Chairman of the Provincial Youth Union Council affirmed that the Party committees and authorities at all levels in the province always pay special attention, creating the best environment for children to study, practice, strive and grow up; thereby, many team members, teenagers and children have become shining examples for generations of children to follow. At the same time, he believes that the Peak Day will have many response programs, many volunteer teams to support children in difficult circumstances will be deployed, many projects will be completed so that children have healthy, safe and useful places to play and playgrounds.

He hoped that the union members, youth, cadres in charge of children, clubs, teams and groups would promote their pioneering and volunteering roles to effectively organize volunteer activities for children, contributing to consolidating, improving the quality and affirming the role of the Union, Association and Pioneer organizations in the whole province in the work of protecting, caring for andeducating children.
At the program, 50 cartons of milk and 22 scholarships were awarded to disadvantaged children in Nam Lu commune; Muong Khuong District Police organized propaganda on accident prevention and injury prevention and the Road Traffic Law.
