This is the day when our whole country honors the good, core values of the family, reminding us of the traditional values of cherishing and preserving the family home. Because “everyone can have many places to go, but there is only one peaceful place to return to, which is the family”.

About 6 km from Lang Quan Commune People's Committee (Yen Son), Mrs. Be Thi Ton's family, village 18, has 3 generations living happily together. Her family was honored by the Provincial People's Committee as a typical multi-generational cultural family of Tuyen Quang province, period 2017 - 2022.

Ms. Ton was the Party Secretary and former Chairman of the People's Committee of Lang Quan Commune. Now retired, she was elected as the Secretary of the Village Party Cell. She still fulfills her social and family responsibilities, taking good care of her family, making many people admire her. She has been a daughter-in-law for more than 40 years, taking care of her elderly parents-in-law. She also loves and cares for her mentally ill sister-in-law for more than 10 years.

Ma Van Thinh and Nong Thi Vinh (Tay ethnic group) live happily with their children and grandchildren.

The couple has 4 children who have completed their education, are married and have stable jobs. Currently, the couple lives with their youngest son's family and 2 grandchildren. Their family is always filled with laughter, warm and harmonious. Sharing the secret to "keeping the fire", Mrs. Ton said, it is sincerity, love, sharing and tolerance for each other. How do we live so that our children and grandchildren understand that, despite many storms and obstacles in life, family is always number 1, always the only one. Because family life is like "fire testing gold"!

Building a happy society and a prosperous country must start from each family member. Each family's perspective on keeping the fire of love alive may be different, but in general, it is all about sharing, respecting, helping, and being together in times of joy and sadness. As society develops, many families, especially young families, tend to want to live separately, but many families still choose to live with grandparents and parents.

The family of Mr. Nong Van Hoang, Dong Huong village, Phuc Thinh commune (Chiem Hoa) is a family of "four generations under one roof". Sharing about maintaining harmony and warmth in the family, Mr. Hoang said: "That is respect, there is superiority, children respect their parents, grandchildren respect their grandparents, husband and wife respect each other. Everyone must be a shining example for everyone to learn from, respect and love. Children and grandchildren also follow that example to preserve the "family's way", together advise each other to develop the economy , raise children, and study successfully".

Comrade Ma Thi Thao, Deputy Director of the Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, shared: In recent years, the movement to build cultural families has increasingly developed, creating a widespread influence in the community. In addition, localities have actively promoted propaganda work on building and preserving cultural lifestyles in families; organizing cultural, artistic, physical education and sports activities; building 3-no residential areas... Since then, more and more typical cultural families have emerged as shining examples in raising children and developing the family economy. Every year, over 92% of families in the province have achieved the title of Cultural Family. This is the foundation for creating a happy society; a prosperous and developed country.

Over many generations, Vietnamese families have been formed and developed with good values. These are traditional values that take filial piety and kindness as the top priority. For each family to be a good nucleus of society, each member of each family must always be responsible for maintaining happiness, cultivating love, and caring for each other in daily life.
