My Dong is one of five wards located in the coastal border area of Phan Rang-Thap Cham City, with a total population of over 3,500 households/15,600 people. The majority of residents rely on aquaculture and fisheries for their livelihood. At the 2024 National Border Guard Day, Comrade Le Van Binh, Comrade Chau Thi Thanh Ha, and leaders of the Provincial Border Guard Command presented 32 gifts to disadvantaged families of policy beneficiaries and meritorious individuals in the ward, and 4 gifts under the "Helping Children Go to School" program.
