Voluntary blood donation festival "Ha Nam - Red drops for businesses"

On the morning of July 11, the Provincial Red Cross Society launched the program "Red Journey - Connecting Vietnamese blood" and the Voluntary Blood Donation Festival (VBD) in 2025 with the theme "Ha Nam - Red drops for businesses".

Leaders of the National Blood Center and the Provincial Red Cross Society encouraged volunteers to participate in voluntary blood donation.

Attending the program were representatives of the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion; leaders of the Provincial Red Cross Society, the Provincial Young Entrepreneurs Association, and the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development (BIDV) Ha Nam .

The program “Red Journey XIII - Connecting Vietnamese Blood in 2025” officially took place from June 2025. The program is the largest in the country and is expected to receive 940,000 units of blood, making an important contribution to raising people's awareness of blood donation and overcoming the blood shortage in the summer nationwide.

Representatives of the National Blood Center presented the logo and souvenir flag to the Provincial Blood Donation Steering Committee.

The HMTN Festival 2025 with the theme "Ha Nam - Red Drops for Enterprises" attracted more than 400 volunteers from 68 Group Joint Stock Company, BIDV Ha Nam Bank; officials, employees, workers of enterprises and many people from all walks of life in the province.

The leaders of the Provincial Red Cross Society commended collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in blood donation and blood donation mobilization.

In order for the Blood Donation Festival to take place safely and successfully, the Organizing Committee has focused on preparing facilities well, establishing a team of volunteers to guide and support blood donors. All blood donors are fully screened and have their blood drawn according to the correct procedure, ensuring safety in blood transfusion. Post-donation support is also carefully implemented. The festival is expected to receive more than 300 units of safe blood.

At the program, the Central Red Journey Organizing Committee presented the Red Journey logo and souvenir flag to the Provincial Blood Donation Steering Committee. The Provincial Red Cross Society awarded 1 group and 21 individuals with outstanding achievements in blood donation and blood donation mobilization; coordinated with sponsors to present 30 gifts to students and blood donation volunteers in difficult circumstances.
