PTSC M&C Youth Voluntary Blood Donation Festival with Units "Pink Blood Drops from Hearts Without Borders"

On August 24, 2025, in Vung Tau Ward, Ho Chi Minh City, with the support of Cho Ray Hospital Blood Transfusion Center, the Youth Union of PTSC Marine Mechanical Services Company (PTSC M&C) - the host unit, coordinated with Petro Hotel Company and Youth Union units under the Youth Union of PTSC Corporation (including PTSC Marine, PTSC Supply Base, PPS, POS, PTSC G&S, PVSB, PV Security, PTSC Phu My) to organize the 13th Voluntary Blood Donation Program - 2025 with the theme "Red blood drops from hearts without borders".

  The program received enthusiastic response from nearly 650 volunteers from units in PTSC Corporation and many other units. This is a meaningful annual activity of PTSC M&C Youth Union, contributing to spreading the spirit of humanity and responsibility for the community of PTSC employees. Especially, in the context that hospitals across the country are facing a serious blood shortage, donating a part of your blood becomes even more meaningful, it is sharing, sending love and lighting up hope for many patients.

Up to now, Ms. Tran Hanh Linh, an office staff of PTSC M&C Party Committee, has donated blood 22 times. In addition, she also actively encourages relatives and friends to participate in blood donation. Ms. Linh said: "Realizing the preciousness of each drop of red blood to human life, every time there is a voluntary blood donation campaign, when my health allows, my extended family and I participate in blood donation. At the same time, I actively promote and mobilize people to better understand blood donation and participate together."

Mr. Truong Van Truc, Deputy Director of PTSC M&C General Equipment Workshop, said: "This is the 17th time I have donated blood. When I have the opportunity to donate my blood to help increase the chances of saving many patients, I am always ready to participate to help the community in some way."

Mr. Le Toan Thang, Deputy Director of POS shared: “ Every time I donate blood, I see more and more the important meaning of voluntary blood drops. Blood can wait for patients, but patients cannot wait for blood. Therefore, I always actively donate blood with the hope that my drops of blood can bring hope to patients.”

Mr. Dang Ngoc Phu, member of the PTSC M&C Youth Union Executive Committee, expressed: “I am very proud to participate in this meaningful blood donation activity. In addition to its profound humanitarian values, the program is also an opportunity for each young person to practice their sense of responsibility, sense of organization and pride in accompanying a group that always upholds community values. Through activities like this, PTSC M&C youth will increasingly mature, live more responsibly and spread many good things in society.”

At the end of the program, the Organizing Committee received 507 units of blood, ensuring safety and quality, contributing to supplementing the blood reserve for emergency and patient treatment.

Voluntary blood donation is not only a noble act of kindness but also a symbol of sharing and responsibility to the community. This is also the core value, a good cultural feature that Petrovietnam employees in general and PTSC, PTSC M&C in particular always preserve and promote.
