Tet holiday, talking about breathing heritage into rock with Ngu Cung

“Ngu Cung – Breathing heritage into rock” is an interesting highlight in the “Tet Hanoi ” program series of Hanoi Radio and Television, which will be broadcast on the 2nd day of the Lunar New Year At Ty (January 30) on the station’s television, radio and digital platforms.

On the occasion of this Lunar New Year, members of the Ngu Cung band including Tran Thang (lead guitar, main composer), Bui Thanh Ha (manager), Le Hong Phi (singer), Tran Hoang Duc (drums), Hoang Xuan Bac (lead guitar), Hoang Xuan Bach (bass guitar) will interact with the audience with many interesting stories. The band will share the reasons for using heritage materials in rock; the harmony between folk music and rock; young people breathing new life into heritage; the return of rock in Hanoi's musical life and the acceptance of young people with the rock genre...
