Vinh Phuc Provincial Museum is located on Ly Bon Street, in the center of Vinh Yen City, in a space of 38,000 square meters very close to nature. The museum has an exhibition area of ​​2,500 square meters, where many valuable documents and artifacts are collected and stored.

The museum is currently displaying over 10,000 artifacts introducing the cultural traditions and history of the land and people of Vinh Phuc from the prehistoric period to the present. In addition to thematic exhibitions, the Vinh Phuc Provincial Museum also has thematic exhibitions to serve the province's cultural events.

At the opening of the museum, a very solemn space was reserved for the statue of Uncle Ho standing and talking to the people of Vinh Phuc on the morning of March 2, 1963. On that morning, Uncle Ho said a sentence that is engraved to this day “…must make Vinh Phuc one of the richest and most prosperous provinces in the North…”.

The opening room of the museum, 400 square meters wide, introduces the geographical area, natural resources and typical historical relics, especially the presence of ancient Vietnamese people on Vinh Phuc land from the Paleolithic era to the Bronze Age (Phung Nguyen, Dong Dau, Go Mun, Dong Son), in which Dong Dau is a typical relic containing all four cultural stages above, the foundation for the formation of the Hung Kings' era.

Gallery No. 1 has an area of ​​140 square meters displaying the cultural life of the people of Vinh Phuc ethnic groups (Kinh, San Diu, Cao Lan, Dao), collecting costumes, jewelry, customs, beliefs, daily life utensils, farming life and some typical festivals such as: buffalo fighting festival (Hai Luu commune, Song Lo district); Phet robbery festival (Ban Gian commune, Lap Thach district), Tay Thien festival (Dai Dinh commune, Tam Dao district) ...

Room No. 2 has an area of ​​108 square meters, introducing the tradition of fighting to build and defend the country of the people of Vinh Phuc ethnic groups from the beginning of the Christian era to 1930. Typical are the uprisings: Hai Ba Trung in 40-43; Ly Bon building Ho Diem Triet base against the Liang army in the 6th century; Nguyen Khoan and Gia Loan citadel.
