(Dan Tri) - Through the camera, Van Anh heard her father's gentle voice and expectant eyes, so she asked her husband to look after the two children and rushed home.
On the evening of December 23, Mr. Nguyen Manh Toan (46 years old, in Hung Yen ) and his wife called their daughter to tell her that they "just slaughtered a very big chicken", and told her to go home and get the meat to eat. Because she was busy taking care of her 20-month-old twins who had just recovered from illness, and the weather was getting cold, Ms. Nguyen Thi Van Anh (26 years old) told her parents "I'll come back another time".
The next evening, Van Anh called through the camera so that Thien Nhan and Thien Duc could meet their grandfather.
"Daughter, today I made chicken hotpot, lots of vegetables, 2 baskets," said Mr. Toan.
Touched by her father's words on camera, the daughter got married and immediately returned home ( Video source: NVCC).
At first, Van Anh intended to refuse again because she was busy with her two young children. But hearing her father's gentle voice and expectant eyes, she decided to let Thien Nhan and Thien Duc finish eating, then asked her husband to look after the two children, and immediately went home 6-7km away to have dinner with her parents.
"The best thing is to marry someone who lives close to home, so you can give up everything to come back to your parents at any time," Van Anh said.
Van Anh and her husband got married in 2018. Her husband's house is only a 10-minute drive from her parents' house. To keep an eye on her parents, she installed cameras in the living room and yard.
Every time he missed his grandchildren, Mr. Toan would cycle over to visit them. One day, he accidentally smoked a cigarette and was afraid that the smell would affect the children, so he wore a mask to play with his two grandchildren.
"When he plays with his two grandchildren, he loses track of time. Many times I have to urge him to go home because it's already dark. In the past, my father took care of me, now he also takes care of his grandchildren," Van Anh choked up.

Sometimes, when she secretly watches the camera at home, she feels sorry for her parents who are alone. Therefore, she always takes advantage of the weekends or warm sunny days to take her children to visit their grandparents.
Touched by what her father said through the camera, Van Anh posted the video on her personal page to preserve the memory.
She did not expect that after one night, her father's moment would spread across forums, attracting nearly a million views. In the comments section, many people were moved to tell their family stories.

"For me, the best decision is to marry someone who is close by, so I can come home whenever I want, and when my parents are sick, I can drive there as fast as possible to see how they are doing," commented user Thanh Loan.
"When the camera was first installed, my father often stood in front of the camera holding food and calling his children. Then my mother scolded him: "They are busy working, who is looking and you keep calling?" Even though I got married only 7km away from home, because of life, I chose to be far away from my parents and hometown once again. Even if I wanted to, I couldn't go back to my family right away.
"I hope my parents are always healthy, all sickness and hardships are left behind the gate, that is the happiest thing," reader Quynh Trang wrote.
